I honestly feel like Red Sonja is a sword and sorcery book that you don’t have to like sword and sorcery books to like. We have brought thousands of people to that book who have never read a Conan or Red Sonja story and we’re having a grand time. :)

To me, it honestly feels like when I was first writing Birds of Prey and we were all having too much fun to know that this shouldn’t possibly work.
