Straight from the desk of Alice Brown & Lady V: ​

Last week was the release of Up in Flames, Texas Vampire Rangers, 1.  We held the release party Tuesday evening and had one of the largest turn outs we have seen yet.  Joining up with fellow JK authors Jess Buffett and Gracie Meadows, there were plenty of prizes and a good time had by all that attended!  

Have you grabbed your copy of Up in Flames yet?  If not, there is a link on the front page of the website that will take you to all the buy sites to make it easier for you.  Whether you like to purchase from JK, Amazon, B & N, Smashwords, All Romance, or Kobo, you will find the direct links to all these sites.  Both of us are planning on concentrating on Fire and Ice, Dragons of Dragonose 2 this week, and can't wait to share a bit of this story with you!  It is coming along nicely.     

Thank you to everyone who has sent cards, messages, etc. to our family as we continue to deal with the death of Alice's sister.  Your thoughts and prayers have made this journey a bit easier.

Now, spring is officially here, at least in North Carolina, and we hope everyone is enjoying warmer temperatures.  The grass is growing, flowers are starting to bloom, and this is truly one of our favorite seasons.  Also, we want to wish everyone a very

A Message from the Paws:

 
     

As many of you might have seen on facebook, I injured my left paw earlier this week.  I got bit or stung by something, but my owners took me straight over to my aunt's house (she is a vet tech) and she took wonderful care of me, and I am feeling much better now!  Once back home, my mommy spoiled me rotten, including introducing me to a late night run to get a cheeseburger for me.  Hey, the medicine I was on was making me hungry!  I was introduced to those wonderful, delicious double cheeseburgers and french fries that night.  What a late night snack!

I am currently spending time back over at my aunt's house.  She has several dogs, and we love to romp and stomp through her house!  She even allows me to jump and play on the furniture, something I can't do at my house.  My family had to go out of town for a couple of days, so I am staying at the aunties, which has been named doggy romper room!  It's a blast!  Have a great week!  I overheard my mommy talking about some kind of "hunt" coming up.  An Easter Egg hunt.  Don't know what that is, but is sure sounds like fun!
