Finally saw A Single Man today. What a beautiful movie. Tom Ford did an astonishing job with his first film, based on the Christopher Isherwood book. There are a whole list of books I'd love to see him work his magic on. Colin Firth was so good as Professor Falconer, and Julianne Moore, in her small part as his boozy best friend, gave the film one hell of a middle.
