The Audacity of WHY!

What? Why such a bold statement?

Why, because as simple as this three letter word is – it has the wherewithal to grow us phenomenally.

Anything starting with why takes reflection. Think about this, have you ever answered whywith a simple yes or no?  Why often leads to thought provoking – maybe life changing responses because the power lies in the response.

OK, here is a very simple example. “Why do you like the color red so much?”

I like the color red because it is lively; it lifts my mood and looks good on me.  This answer to why gives insight of who I am. Maybe I never questioned myself for liking the color red; here is an opportunity to consider this why and to share more of myself.

Why engages and connects – it dwells deep and provokes. Why is purposeful demanding insight. Why shows a high level of care such as, “Why do you feel that way?” Why is a great catalyst, an activator opening doors.

Why pulls, pushes and keep things moving. Why is not always easy and can stretch you.

And, why is usually a child’s favorite word – why?

Think about the whys coming at you as a way to open your mind for growth.

Now, why did I write this TR Snippets about why? I wrote about why because it has the power to catapult our world – to stop us, to create that pause for growth.

I hope you give the whys in your life the attention needed to better your best.
