The Expanse PICKED UP at SYFY
So The Expanse has been picked up for a 10-episode season by Syfy on the strength of an amazing script by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby. Not shooting a pilot, commitment to a full season.
We have a *great* team, and they’re only getting better.

Woot! Can't wait! Any word on when this airs? I don't want to miss it.
They are saying it will air Fall of next year, but the real announcement happens the 30th of this month, so there may be more details then.
Fantastic! I just hope the TV series is at least reflective of the awesomeness of the book. Leviathan Wakes was wonderful.
It really bothers me that they seem to be pushing it as "Game of Thrones in Space," because it isn't.
That's just TV marketing guy speak. Don't let it bother you.

(reading up on next year's SyFy schedule, it almost seems like they are actually serious about getting to back making actual good scifi)
