For those of us who are vertically challenged and love food, it is a constant was with the scale. Also, I broke my foot in Feb. I now have a widening in places that needed no more width. I can be kind to myself, but my pants do no give me much leeway in allowing too much self indulgence.

Debbie you look fantastic all the time! Always smiling and always look great! I see you as a favorite author and not whether you are fat or skinny or just right! You have a positive attitude and I like your outlook on life. That's great you are telling ppl to think positively and be kind to yourself. We should all do that but sometimes its not always easy! Youre a positive role model and that goes a long way in my thinking. Because of the person you are, I think more ppl will realize you are right. Think positive and dont get down on yourself! Love your books! Keep writing as you do!

For those of you who have followed my career and taken notice of my publicity photos, you might have noticed something about me. Like most women, my weight fluctuates up and down, sideways and edgewise. Because I am in the public eye, I worry about my appearance. All too often I would gauge my day by what the scale had to say. But with spring and renewal, I am worrying no more. Every day is a fresh new beginning, a clean slate, and for that I am most grateful. I invite you to join me in thinking positively and being kind to yourself.
