Temporary Mark by Kim Dare
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
What always draws me into stories is character development, which is good this time around, because this book didn’t have much on plot or other story line. Characterization was interesting, although not necessarily unique, which isn’t a good thing or a bad thing as the author did’t rely on quirkiness of character development to tell the of one down-on-his-luck sub looking for a lonely dom. Okay for a quick read.
EDITED: 4/10/2013 Raising this from 3 stars to 4 stars b/c I just reread it. Needed a quick read and picked this one. Something in this story is like comfort food to me. I think what appeals to me is the gentle care of a strong broken man for a despairing broken man, so they both find what they need to be whole again. cc
