Merron Religion, Ritual and Hierarchy

Many moons ago Orbit asked me to write an essay detailing some of the history and traditions of the Merron. I was delighted to do this because  there was lots I knew about them, only a little of which had made it into The Crowded Shadows. I thought it might be nice to share that essay with those of you who won't have read the UK/US versions, and Orbit have very kindly agreed to let me put it up online!
