A-Z Post today is G

Today’s letter is G  I would like to talk about Goodreads.

Now a days you either like Goodreads or you hate it.  There is no in-between much.  I started using Goodreads back in 2009.  I was using it to post all my books I have read to help me keep track.  When you start reading a lot and over 100 books sometimes you can lose track of what you have read and might start reading a book a second time.

I started making friends and also following fellow review bloggers.  We would exchange book recommendations, events, blog tours etc.  We still do and it is great for that purpose.

Now that I have a few books out I have switched to an author on Goodreads but still mainly use it like I do above.  I have seen bloggers and authors bash each other on there and it is discouraging.  It can’t be fun for either one and hopefully it stops soon.  Reading and writing is suppose to be fun not a chore or to get bashed.
