FridayFlash: Starfall

A lonesome star had once borne a solitary planet and to keep her company, had gifted her a crown of golden jewels. Though beautiful, the planet grew old, so old that all of her given names had been long forgotten. She was a nameless sphere circling a nameless star at the edge of an unraveling spiral, just another casualty of inevitability.
