The Alphabet Story Writing Contest

I'm starting a new weekly contest series. Every Saturday and Sunday, (beginning on Friday nights), I will feature a new creative writing contest with various prizes!

This weekend is the ALPHABET STORY contest. Should be a fun one! It's nice and simple. Here is the prompt and guidelines:

--Write a story with at least 26 words. It can be any genre, of any format (narrative, dialogue, instruction manual, song...etc etc)
--The first word of the story MUST begin with the letter A.
--Each word must begin with the next letter in the alphabet, in the proper order, "A, B, C, D,....Z."
--You can end a sentence whenever you want, but the next sentence must begin with the next letter in the alphabet.
--You can have more than 26 words, but you'll have to restart at A once you use the letter Z.

Make me laugh, make me cry. Impress me. Make me question reality. This is your story, and I will be the judge of the entries with the winner announced on Wednesday, April 9, 2014.

DEADLINE: Sunday, April 6, 2014 by 11:59 p.m. PST
Email your submission to: salexmartinauthor@gmail.com

I will select THREE winners, who will each receive all of my Ebooks:

--My YA novel Embassy
--Get it Write Tonight: Edit! That! Book!
--Get it Write Tonight: Characters

Share this contest and spread the word!
