I Turned Down a Book Deal!
Did I get your attention?
The offer came at the end of last year for a novel that I’ve been shopping for a long time. It was from a highly respected company, and one I’d been courting for a while.
But the offer was bad. I had to walk away from it.
Why am I telling you this now?

Thanks, Judy! It was hard to walk away from a "sure" thing, but being in control is a lot of fun. The book is actually going to be published a year sooner now. I cant' wait. :)
