Writing Groups

I'd recommend to any aspiring writer to join a writing group: preferably a critique group. It really helps to hear what others think of what you write. If the group is supportive and encouraging of your writing, you will be inspired to do more writer and your writing will get better. Another benefit is when you critique other writers. It teaches YOU how to write better when you study the writing of others and share your insights with them. We have a wonderful group in Lake Havasu City, Arizona which meets twice a month. Joining and participating has been one of the best things I've done to become a better writer.
