A marriage proposal is likely something every couple will never forget. It usually takes loads of planning and creativity to create the perfect moment. However, having the Doctor and one of his companions on hand never hurts either!

Seizing the golden moment, a rare joint photo op with Matt Smith (the Eleventh Doctor) and Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) at Louisville, Ky’s Wizard World, an adventurous Whovian brandishes a ring and pops the question! In addition to getting the answer he was hoping for (she said yes!), the couple also briefly celebrated with the genuinely happy Smith and Gillan in the form of a group hug. Another sterling example of grace and warmth from two of the most popular performers from the long running show.
