Hi, Renee! Thanks for having me on your blog today. I brought a little piece from Emmaline's Groom, my new Victorian Spanking Romance. It doesn't need much setup. Leo and Emma are newly married and about to embark on a new life in America. Emma is worried she will not be able to stay out of trouble, so she's trying to think of things that will help her to behave.

“Sometimes even when I have the best intentions,” she began slowly again, “even when I am trying very hard to stay out of trouble, I cannot.”

He looked back at her, not knowing the correct response. Should he agree with her, seemingly putting her down at the same time?

She saved him from answering because she continued speaking, “Maybe you could give me an incentive of sorts.” Her face flamed with color and he quirked an eyebrow at her. She placed her hands over her face, hiding herself from him. His face split into a grin as he realized what she asked.

He tugged at her hands, pulling them down away from her face, but she snapped her eyes shut to keep from looking at him, “My sweet Emmaline, are you asking me to punish you before you have even done anything?”

Her eyes flew back open and she began to look panicked, “No! Not a punishment.” She paused as she searched for her next words. “But maybe a reminder? Something to keep me from earning a punishment?”

To say he was shocked would have been an understatement. He could not help but wonder what went on in her mind. Did she sometimes daydream and have the same fantasies he had? “You are asking me to spank you, though?”

She looked away from him as he asked his question. “I just want to be clear, you want me to spank you to remind you that you will be punished if you do not behave?” She shrugged her shoulders, her face as red as a ripe apple. He wondered if it would be warm to the touch. He knew he should not press her further, but he could not help wanting to hear her say the words. “Emma, is that what you want?”

She looked back up at him, and her lip quivered.

“Tell me,” he whispered down to her.

“Yes.” Her voice was barely audible. “Please spank me, Leo.”

He rushed to comply before she changed her mind, he pulled them both up, placing himself on the edge of the bed. He started to pull her up, to place her in front of him, when her words starting coming out in a rush. “But not a punishment, Leo.” She looked at him hesitantly. “Not too hard, either.”

“Are you giving me directions now?”

“Yes, no!” She dropped her gaze, “I do not know.”

He pulled her to stand between his legs. He drew her in close, looking up at her from where he was seated. “I think this is an excellent idea.” She finally looked back at him and smiled. “I think you were brave to ask me.”

She placed her hands on his shoulders and looked back at him with more confidence than before. “You are right, this is not a punishment. But maybe if you remember the sting of my hand on your backside you will think twice before you find yourself in trouble.” He circled his arms around her waist as he felt her shiver at his words.
