Conduct Unbecoming

Question: What if everyone universally agreed that intoxicated people are automatically not candidates for any kind of sexual activity? Regardless of the circumstances. When in doubt, don't.

BATAF: The burden of proof always falls on rape survivors to prove they weren't asking for it.

Corelle Interesting post. It reminds of that movie The Accused with Jodie Foster, which is very groundbreaking because (and I am using this term very loosely) the rape culture (air-quotes) has this long history of blaming the women and by the late 1980s and 1990s was when the U.S. enacted the 'No means NO' Law; it's not that old once you think about it. I learned that there are maybe a huge number of rape kits that sit in police stations that are unsolved, ridiculous...

Totally agree with you, Corelle. Rape is such an awful crime and a violation, then add the fact that so many military service members get assaulted by people they need to depend on in battle... It's like some parts of society have gone into crazy auto-destruct mode.
