Once Ellemarlene was part of a vast Empire but then the Dragon and Phoenix clans went to war. What was once fertile land full of life, is now a dry empty desert. The stories say it is a wasteland full of weird creatures, large lakes of molten fire, and it takes at least three days to cross without resources for food or water.
