The other day on Facebook, I came across this status:

 

Maybe it’s because I’ve been changing diapers for six years, but I did not read that word as pop. 

Neither did the hubby.

So. To pop-drinkers of the world, please, I beg of you. Before you post on Facebook about it, spell-check it. Don’t rely on auto-correct. We were lucky this time, but next time, you could be the victim of some accidental TMI.

As a romance author, I’ll be taking the soda route in my books. Just seems safer.

So tell me – do you call it pop, soda, coke, or do you just steer clear of the debate?
