Still think promotion doesn't work?
Tucson Fest of Books this last weekend, March 15-16 was great!
Once again, I was floored by the enthusiastic Kindle readers who eagerly signed up to get the twice weekly All Mystery Newsletter/DirtCheapMysteryReads.
For anyone who thinks that readers are jaded by all of the on-line promotion sites it was invigorating to get feedback by people who, believe it or not, had no idea that they could get a twice weekly newsletter full of discounted and free mystery/suspense/thriller reads for their kindles. REALLY!
One lady waited in line until she got to me and said, "I have a kindle, and I only read mysteries. I didn't know there was something like this. I'd like to sign up for your newsletter."
It's a good time to be a mystery writer!
