enough to fill this river
as I watch it overflow
a river to it’s fullest
it overflows, don’t you know?
enough to cool the searing
of your words upon my eyes
as they surged on me like knowing
the words that I despise
enough to settle down
deep~in my heart, for goodness sake
they found a home within me
my peace they tried to take
enough as I sit silent
enough does choice abound
enough of you, enough of this
enough to fill this river!
