Trust your journey (all of it)
(available here)After my last post, I've been thinking more about transitions. How they usher us to our edges, how they are hard, beautiful, important - even if for our highest good, even if we manifested them, prayed for them, wanted them.
Also realized that I didn't have a piece of art that spoke to my word of the year (trust). And so, here she is. I'm going to trust my journey - all of it, the bits, the pieces, the goods, the hards, the guts, the loves, the misses, the triumphs. Everything shapes us, and I'm seriously grateful for this latest transition. It's gonna be beautiful.
My dad brought our dining room chandelier and entry way light fixture from the old house and installed them into the new one. Can't tell you how much that helped - immediate comfort. Funny how everyday ordinary things bring such familiarity and comfort. I'm grateful for it.
And this little guy is warming up, and going with the flow. Loving his joy. He has already claimed the new basement as "True's fort" and is walking around like he owns the place. Love, love, love.
Friends, I've been coveting this bench for well over a year. It's from my dear friend Mati Rose's home decor line and I finally got it. Opened it up yesterday and it was so great to have a dear friend's energy and love in the new place. Hello artful joy!
More soon! XO
