I found India Was One to be a very compelling read. After being into the book a few pages I couldn't put it down. The characters were portrayed so well and the book was extremely well written. The author did such a great job of educating the reader about India and the lives of Indians within the US. I would highly recommend this book to anyone. You won't be disappointed.
