#Excerpt: REMEMBER OUR SONG by Emma South

  Excerpt:...I felt his hands begin to pull away and I quickly raised my own to cover his, keeping them firmly planted on my cheeks as I raised myself up on to the tips of my toes and kissed him.  Jeremy hardly moved for a moment, as if he’d forgotten how to kiss, but then returned it with growing confidence until we had to break it off to catch our breath.
We stared at each other, my heart beating so hard I thought for sure he would hear it.  All the protests inside my mind were washed away by the more immediate desires of my body, the usually strongly asserted points washed away by the events of the day, a perfect day as Jeremy had said.
Jeremy leaned down again, one hand leaving my face to slide down my back and pull me against him, the other moving to the back of my head and his fingers running through my hair.  I felt him against the entire length of my body, held tight like he was never going to let go, his heat driving away any lingering chills the cold air had caused...
