“Entrancing.”

People (***)

“Rice’s fans will appreciate the evocative setting and unconventional romance, as well as the harrowing . . . depictions of border crossing and the fascinating parallels drawn between Julia’s research interests (she studies the Irish who arrived in America over a century ago) and modern-day Mexican immigrants.”

Sally I'm so happy there is a new Luanne Rice book, and this one sounds like it has the best of her talents for story telling and drawing her reader into the lives and emotions of her characters.
I immediately put it on hold at our local library and can't wait to get right into the story, although it sounds as though a box of tissues will be a must.
