Trees – a Poem

I shared this poem with a small group of friends and got positive feedback, so I thought I’d share it with you all, too. Enjoy!

Trees

By Robin A. Burrows

Branches

Embraced

By blue delight.

Glass shackles

Twinkling

In sudden Brightness.

Murk cleared.

Doors opened.

Yet still bound

By invisible bonds

In trade winds –

To bend or shatter.
