One week left! Spoiler-free reviews of WORDS OF RADIANCE

Words of Radiance comes out in one week. Here are some early non-spoiler reviews: Alice at Tor.com, Carl at Tor.com, Eric & Josh at 17thShard.

On Saturday I went up to Weller Book Works and signed 500 copies of Words of Radiance. So if you ordered from them, it’s in the process of being shipped out. They’re shipping to people who live outside the US first, then to other states, and finally to Utah. They’re trying to time things so that your book arrives on Tuesday, March 4th, but shipping can be unpredictable. They’ll do their best.

On Monday evening, March 3rd, I’ll be at the BYU Bookstore presigning and numbering all of their books for the midnight release. Here’s another reminder from the bookstore that if you’re attending, they really want you to preorder so they can be sure to have enough copies. Full details on the midnight release are here.

There’s info on my entire book tour here. If you would like to get my newsletter (3 or 4 times per year) and have me send you email reminders when I’m signing near you, tell me your city here (be sure to check the box!).

Yesterday my store manager Kara put up a post about cool new Stormlight merchandise in the store. Take a look if you haven’t yet.

Jan-Eric I got my copy today. Earlier than expected. I'm still rereading WoK...

Caleb Ross Very excited for the book to be releasing shortly. It's awesome to see that you're already being praised for it.

Dorry My husband read "Way of Kings" aloud to me while I sewed, crocheted, and knitted Christmas presents last year. We last read it back in 2010.
We are eagerly awaiting the coming of "Words of Radiance!" I have already pre-ordered it from Amazon (to get it on the day it is released) and a special, personalized copy from "The Signed Page."
I'm super excited! This time, I am reading it aloud to my husband.
Thanks for all you do for your readers!

Hélène Louise I'm rather jealous to see that some lucky folks have such books before me, that's not fair!!
But I don't mind, really; I'm on the starting blocks: France's ready! :)

(@Dorry : to have a reader for the WOK, what a delicious luxury! :D )

My husband and I have been reading aloud together since before we married. It has been wonderful. Our favorite read-alouds are Brandon Sanderson's books. We have read all of his titles out loud.

Dorry My husband and I have been galloping across the pages of "Words of Radiance!" It is a massive book that will keep us entertained and occupied for a month, no doubt. Or at least I hope it takes us a month. The only problem with Sanderson's books are that they have endings.
Currently, I am the one reading out loud because I read faster, but when it is my turn to eat, fold clothes, or wash dishes, cook, you name it, Nathan, my husband, reads to me. When it is his turn to work on something, or eat, I read to him. This way not a moment passes when we are not reading. Forget movie date nights, dinner out, or luxurious excursions, we have a Sanderson new release!
Thank you again, Sanderson, for a brilliant read!
OK, enough said, I am going to take lunch to my husband, and read to him while he eats. :-)

Hélène Louise Dorry, I easily believe that this read will last you a month, reading it on my one is about too take two (happy) weeks!
I love and hate reading aloud: I love the idea and I've always read a lot for my children, and still do for the youngest, but I find it really difficult - to speak slowly and to articulate, erk... ^-^
Speaking of aloud readings, I surprised myself wishing to read one this way, the first book of Karen Lord (whom I discovered by her second "The Best of All Possible Worlds", a wonderful book *.*) "Redemption in Indigo".
It's so witty and elegant, it reminds me of Jane Austen (in fact I'm not alone to have made the comparison) even if it's more of a tale than anything else.
Have you heard about Karen Lord? I believe that people who loved Brandon Sanderson's books may also love this author, even if they're not alike, something special about characters, imagination, positive momentum...

Dorry We read it in a week!
Reading aloud has become our way of reading, we wouldn't have it any other way.
I will look into Karen Lord.
