The Yorkshire Repeaters. Over.

Some of you on twitter may have seen me go a bit mental about an amateur radio group – called the Yorkshire Repeaters – who broadcast here. I usually listen at night – around 10pm UK time. I guess it’s a bit like listening in to CB radio. There’s a whole cast of brilliant characters – Alan, Scott et al, who discuss everything from the best aerials to buy for their equipment, to the worst smell they ever smelt (prawn factory won).

Anyway, Si Bennett made this great animated film to some of their brilliantly banal chat.

Alan – who is my fave – was sadly not on this clip, but do try to tune in to catch them one night. Bonus points if Alan is on. You can find them on tunein and wunderadio apps too.
