Keep your fingers crossed! EVER AFTER is up for an Audie this year in the category of paranormal. If you’ve never heard Ms. Gavin, go take a listen. There’s a sound bit up. [The Audies]
Today I’ll be taking over Harper’s twitter feed between 2-4 EST. If you have a question or comment, hop over to their feed and talk to me! (When I’m there. Not now.) Otherwise, I’ll probably be treating everyone to weather reports and what my dogs are doing, and they sleep a lot. [Harper's twitter]
Oh! And I was just over at Harper’s pages. The Browse Inside feature is now up and running, so if you want to read the first five chapters online before picking the book up on Tuesday, you’ve got a nice way to do it. A chapter a day, eh?
[The Undead Pool sneak peek]
I was at Nicola’s last night–signing those pre-order books! They are real, and beautiful, and all first-editions thanks to some extra care from the folks at Harper. (Ms. P, I’m looking at you!
If you’ve not heard, we went into a second printing earlier this week. Now, I’m not saying the books are going to be scarce, but if you get a first-edition or second is going to depend on when your bookstore got their order. If this is something that is important to you, check before you go to the register.
“But Kim!” you might say. “How can I tell if a book is first edition or not?” Let me tell you! At the bottom of the title page will be a string of numbers. If they run 1-10, you have a first edition. 2-10, you’ve got a second edition, and so on.

Or you can pre-order from Nicola’s and be guaranteed a first edition. If you order it now or over the weekend, we can get it processed and out the door before I go on tour. [How to order from Nicola's] This is my home store, and I’ve NEVER seen a group of people more dedicated to the reader then this. International is okay. They do it all the time.
Tour t’s have been shipped for a while now, so you should have them and the Free Vampire Society pin Guy and I included as this year’s freebie.
I just love these things. I’ll have them at the signing events as well for the first 100 or so people through the line. I can’t wait to be giving these away. :-) [Am I coming near you?]
I’ll be trying my signing clothes on this weekend. Wish me luck. I’ve not worn them in over a year, and it’s been a long . . . cold . . . winter.
