Right Now

reaching

I need to write a poem

about how

my thoughts

are

misperceived by me

I don’t believe

I’m a loser

The steps I take

betray me

Right

and

wrong

Carving

a way

to my destiny

is creating

something

that does not exist

the only way

it will happen

is

if

I believe

that something

that has never happened before

can happen

right

now

Christopher Brennan Dear Raven: Nice poem, melancholy, but not depressing, hope inspired, but realistic. You're a better than good writer. Christopher.

Thank you for the compliment Sir Chris.

Christopher Brennan Dear Raven, I was reading your poem, "Right Now," in my reference. Last evening, I was considering the last four ounces in my Jack Daniel's bottle. . . . so right now was apt. On wearing an Afro in Vermont -- nice title, by the way -- sure you can, but be alert, some old folks may try to tap maple syrup from you. . . . Christopher.

Raven Moore I still have yet to drink maple syrup from the tree or try all the pancake houses there, that there are to try it with. So many things to do in Vermont this summer of all places ironically. You're not from Vermont, are you? Am I forgetting? I think you should get a NutriBullet and skip Jack D. It's more fun.

Christopher Brennan NutriBullet?

Sounds ominously -- healthy.

I am not from Vermont, grew up in London/Paris, then the Canary Islands. I'm from nowhere, but going somewhere fast. Best to you, CB
