The journey of the book

The story of how these books are coming to the public has been a case-in-point example of how modern book publishing has shifted.

I started the process with a simple idea, formed with a few of my buddies, about the story of David's Mighty Men being brought to the page in a Braveheart/Band of Brothers/300 way. I didn't pursue the traditional publishing options of seeking an agent or submitting manuscripts to publishers (which would have been ignored, anyway).
