In Which I Rant About…Apples?

When it came time to design the Summoned cover, I had absolutely no doubt what I wanted: this model, this attire, this color, this font. You would think it would have been an in-and-out job, but it wasn’t. That’s a story for another time (pun!).

When I told the high-level concept to several of my trusty cohorts, most were on board. A few stepped back and said, “Hmm, an apple? It’s perfect for this book but there’s that small thing called Twilight…It has an apple on the front.”
