How Precious We Are

Today, as I held my daughter and fed her from the bottle (right before she vomited up half her dinner), I couldn’t help but think how precious each and everyone one of us are, and how fragile at times our lives can be.

I think about my little princess and sometimes it boggles my mind that someone so beautiful and delicate can break apart so easily, like the petals of a rose. I try imagining taking care of such a beautiful and precious creation without my loving and supportive wife–and I just can’t do it. The task seems so incredibly daunting–raising her on my own to become a strong, independent woman.

If you’re wondering why I’m rambling on such a tangent, last night, I was messaged on twitter that one of my readers had gotten in a serious accident. I won’t go into details, but this lovely person–a single mother of three–can no longer support for her children while she’s on the mend.

For those that know me, I have the greatest respect for single mothers…they are the most hardest working people in the universe.

If you’re joining me on my blog for the first time, I ask that you don’t purchase any of my books right now. They can wait. Instead, take your money and support this strong, beautiful, shining star of a reader/single mom and ease the burden of her being the sole provider for her children. She’s been strong for so long for her kids, now it’s time for us to pull our weight for her.

Please.

And remember to share this with everyone!
