Con Wars in Minneapolis as Wizard World schedules show two weeks before Spring Con — The Beat:

I don’t know whether or not to attend Wizard World Minneapolis. On the one hand, I think it draws a segment of fandom that falls mostly outside of our more established fan communities. I’m always interested in reaching out to new people, so there’s that.

On the other hand, there are the questionable business practices outlined on the other end of the link. I’m never interested in supporting underhandedness.

On the third hand, the last Wizard World I went to (this would have been Chicago, around about 2006) seemed less like a “comicon” and more like a walk-in advertisement for Redbull, Spike TV and wrestling. So, I’m pressed to find where my demographic and theirs would overlap.
