OooooooThis looks challenging.
Thanks for the idea.
A book based on a true story? So that would be a non fiction or a fictional story about a real person/event?
Good luck

Innocence is on my list too. I am going to keep that in mind for when I pull that card!

I thought of it as something like Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. Obviously the book I chose is casting the net a bit wider, but it was what I had. And considering Roberts' impeccable historicity in his novels, whatever he talks about ... happened. He just tells it to us in fictional story.

I think I found a book: "Christy" by Catherine Marshall. I think the hardest one will be the author under 30. Especially if it means currently under 30.

I love Christy. One of my favorite books of that sort and it's been too long since I've reread it.
I have a fantastic book, author under 30 ... halfway through now and it is simply terrific, Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge.

I am reading "Bambi"(not Disney). I think it will count. I found it on the dusty side of the book shelf. Looking forward to it.
I was so excited to find this as I'm trying to read more out of my comfort zone this year. I feel like I don't really have any brain space left to figure out what I want to read next. My kids got really excited about it too and printed out the YA version. We decided to cut up the card and randomly draw our reading choices each time. I think we will learn a lot about each other, I was completely surprised when my son pulled "A book based on a myth" and "Atlantis" came out of his mouth without hesitation. He's starting "The Colossus Rises" by Peter Lerangis. I drew "A Book Your Friend Loved" and have a slew of suggestions to choose from. My daughter pulled "A book that will make you cry" and picked "Anne of Green Gables".

I can't just choose squares that I've already got pegged mentally.

So I am reading Dean Koontz's _Innocence_. I wouldn't have picked it next, so I guess the Bingo Randomizer is working!
