The Grass Castle is out there

Well, it's a very exciting time for me right now, having released my latest novel out into the world. As a writer, I know I can't make everyone happy, but I see my book as my little gift to readers, and I hope that people find some way to connect with it, and with the characters who have become very close to my heart. Having lived with Abby and Daphne for a few years now, they've become good friends, and I know it will be hard to let them go when it's time to start on a new book. I hope The Grass Castle will be a good book for book clubs, as I think there are many issues for discussion among its varied themes. I know that my lovely publishers (A&U) will soon have some Readers Notes up on their website, with some fabulous questions to consider and rake over. Hopefully Good Reads will also be a good venue for discussions.
