Is Arthur Darvill Joining the UK Cast of Once?

Rumour has it that Doctor Who‘s very own Arthur Darvill, (alias Rory Williams), is set to join the cast of the West End musical Once. The hit production, penned by Irish playwright Enda Walsh, currently features Declan Bennett in the role of Guy, but Darvill is tipped to be taking over from Bennett when he leaves the part in March.

If the rumours are to believed, it wouldn’t be the first time Darvill has trodden the boards of the West End stage, having recently played Parry in the WhatsOnStage Award-nominated Our Boys in 2012.

Once has been performed at London’s Phoenix Theatre since it opened in April last year, and has now been extended until 4 July 2015. But whether Arthur Darvill will, indeed, be filling the boots of Guy remains a mystery.

What do you think, Whovians? Is anybody going to book on the off-chance…?
