Text, Context, & Subtext: How to Talk About Something Without Talking About it.

Subtext is like a donut hole.

It exists, but only in the context of something else. You don't really write subtext, because that's the stuff people don't say. to put it another way:

1. The stuff that people say is text.
2. The stuff that people mean, is subtext.
