Went to Gatineau last week where I was received by the paramedics who organized a large conference. The organizers were wonderful and made me feel as if I was special. Thanks to all of them. Such wonderful people who daily risk their health for all of us. I am a fan forever.
Had a few words with General Dallaire as we exchanged about old friends and other things. Wish I had thought to bring my copy of "J'ai serré la main du diable." Next time that we meet, maybe I won't forget.
Sold about 40 copies of Combat Doctor.
Now reviewing "Un 30 octobre après la guerre" the second book in the Kempfe heptalogy, the story of Paul Kempfe and Manfred Hesse. Lots of travelling from the Atlantic in winter storms to the calm waters off the beaches of Florida, to occupied France, to Hamburg, Cologne, Dresden, Berlin, and to Sherbrooke QC, to Vermont, Washington DC and Arizona. And of course, the skies above Germany.
