Why are people typing 'squee' when they like something? I just... why? You like a movie so you're going to make a sound similar to a pissed-off pig? Oh, and why do you follow it with a thousand exclamation points? Why the need for added emphasis? Just in case the pig noise wasn't enough?
I mentioned this on my Facebook page and several people didn't know what I was talking about. Is this odd phenomena isolated to the book world? I can't say that I've really seen it anywhere else.
This is a real problem people. Someone needs to step up. Readers everywhere are making asses out of themselves by mimicking barnyard animals while EMPHASIZING!!!!!111!!!!1 the shit out of it. See how annoying that was? Yeah. We need a law.
