Echo in Time giveaway & book launch

Echo in TimeToday is that special day–the last day that there will be no reviews and no used copies of Echo in Time being sold on Amazon. Ahh, the day is filled with expectancy. Since it is also the crazy busy holiday time, I’m not having a book launch on the 23rd. That will happen on Jan 7th at 7:00 pm at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe, AZ.  For those of you who don’t live in Arizona, I should mention that it’s 75 degrees and sunny here. It would be sooo worth the trip to come get a signed copy.

At the book launch I will tell you all sorts of interesting stories. Or I’ll do a Miley Cyrus VMA reenactment. I’m not sure which yet. (Decisions, decisions.) Where is my teddy bear bathing suit these days?)

If you haven’t read Erasing Time yet, it’s on sale on Amazon for .99 for a few more days. And–let’s be honest for a moment– 99 cents is less than your overdue fees at the library would be if you checked it out. In fact, 99 cents is less than the price for gas it would take you to drive to the library.  Here’s the link: http://www.amazon.com/Erasing-Time-C-J-Hill-ebook/product-reviews/B007HBLOAU/ref=cm_cr_dp_see_all_btm?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending

And here’s the cute picture:Erasing Time

Anyway, I highly recommend reading Erasing Time first, as the second book contains some big spoilers. Actually, if you haven’t read Erasing Time, you probably shouldn’t even read the teaser for Echo in Time as then you will know who lives and who dies. Not that I kill anyone off in Erasing Time. Maybe.

For a chance to win, answer this question in the comments: If you had a time machine, and could use it to go back in time and save a person, who would it be? This person can be fictional or real.

For an extra chance, follow me on twitter or facebook.

For an additional extra chance, blog or tweet about the book, preferably using lots of adjectives to describe your joy at its impending arrival.

Here’s a bit about Echo in Time

After being pulled 400 years into the future, twins Taylor and Sheridan have found some refuge from the government of Traventon, which used the dangerous Time Strainer to yank the girls from the past. Yet the threat of the dangerous technology still looms. Taylor and an ally, Joseph, are selected to go on a mission to destroy the time machine and weapon. But their actions before they do may have major consequences for the future and the past.

Echo in Time delivers on “the possibility of an equally thrilling sequel” (Kirkus Reviews) to Erasing Time.
