Before I met you, or better phrased, before Icame to know who you are,and what it is exactlythat you...

Before I met you, or
better phrased, before I
came to know who you are,
and what it is exactly
that you are capable of,
I used to dream of flowers.

I used to dream of being
suspended above the ground,
being supported by nothing
else than vines that have grown
too wild to ever be tamed.

But now that your presence
has overtaken my thoughts,
I cannot help but to dream
about hearts breaking underneath
the feet of the people
who were right about everything
that they had ever said
about me.

You didn’t change me
for the better, but however
you did help me understand
myself in a light that is only
used for realizations. That is
something I can never be
more thankful for, but I will
always resent you for pushing
my mind into a pit of hopes
that will never actually
touch the surface,
and be able to show
nonbelievers that everything
is attainable as long
as you keep reaching.
