Ancient Mythology vs. Sexy Mythology
Many thanks to Daryl Devore for hosting me on her blog today!
Greek mythology, both in art and literature, believed mythological beings once inhabited the Earth. Those beings were godlike creatures and people worshipped them as deities.

With thousands of artifacts pointing to the possibility of their existence, I wonder if music existed. At one time, there were dinosaurs. Chinese history proclaims an emperor long dead had kept dragons.
So why not mythological beings?
In my modern mythic romances, I give Greek history a little twist and go out on a limb. A few of my characters are born as sexy shape-shifting Centaurs descended from ancient Greece. Like immigrants everywhere, their ancestors left their home country to find a new life elsewhere. They settled in the Boronda Forest.
Before I started writing this series my knowledge of Greek mythology was limited to what I learned in school. To educate myself, I researched and crammed my head with countless (no doubt useless) facts.
The intrinsic belief people held for these beings fascinated me to no end.
And let’s face it—who wouldn’t want to meet a hot Centaur or sexy Wood Nymph? If you could meet a mythological creature, what (or who) would it be and why?

Troll-y Yours, Book 2 of The Centaurs seriesBlurb:
SHE TAKES A CHANCE.
Determined to forge a better life, Ella launches her new business with high hopes—until a sexy Centaur bumps into her and throws her life off course. Voted “Most Eligible Bachelor in Boronda”, Aleksander shakes up her world and tilts her in more ways than one.
HE’S IN DANGEROUS TERRITORY.
Years of warfare and countless bedroom encounters have stolen Kempor Aleksander’s luster for life. He never expects to rediscover his zeal in the small, redheaded form of Ella the Troll, who fires his blood hotter than the deepest caverns in the forest.
A PASSION SO HOT.
But as trouble lingers in their midst—and edges ever closer—Alek and Ella spiral into troubled terrain. Turning to each other, the pair face down dangers that run impenetrably deep in their mythological world. But will the two lovers discover a passion that runs even deeper?
