“If you want me back, give me the control.” ~ Mid Week Tease #MWTease
It’s back and better than ever! It’s teasing time, the first one of 2014. New Year = New Graphic! It gave me a reason to play with Photoshop (a/k/a the procrastinators playground).

Are you ready for my tease? This is the first time I’m showing off my brand new WIP. It’s the second book of my series, Shaken Not Stirred (tentative name). The first book is in the hands of my agent for review. So, instead of wondering what part he’s at, if he likes the characters, what he thinks of the story, and general inbox stalking activities, I decided to dive into Miranda and Alex’s story.
This picture provided the inspiration for the start of the first love scene of the book. Miranda (Alex calls her “Em” because she used to sign her notes and texts with the letter M.) uses a little femdom action to put Alex in his place…
“What’s it gonna take, Em.” He walked across her office and stood on the other side of her desk.
“For what?”
“For you to forgive me. For you to give us another chance.”
Miranda rested her elbows on the desk’s surface and studied his face. “What makes you think I’d give you another chance?”
“I’m still standing here.”
“It didn’t work the first time, why should we try again?”
“Because I haven’t stopped thinking about you and you haven’t been able to take that painting down of us.” His eyes flicked to the picture on the wall behind her desk.
“That’s not us.”
“Bullshit.” Alex flashed a crooked smirk that could thaw even the coldest ice queen.
She stood, walked around her desk and stopped directly in front of him. Thanks to her 5 inch platform boots, she looked him straight in the eye. “You want another chance?”
“More than you know.” He raised his hand to stroke her cheek but she quickly grabbed away.
“Then do something you’ve never done before.”
He chuckled. “Which is what?”
She raised her eyebrows. “Relinquish control.”
He laughed again and shook his head. “What are you talking about?”
“Just what I said. Relinquish control. You’re used to calling the shots, in and out of bed. You’re so used to being in control, I don’t think you’d be able to handle turning it over to someone else. If you want me back, give me the control, Alex.”
“You want control? Of me?”
Miranda nodded, but didn’t look away. Her eyes remained locked on his.
“And you’ll give me, us, a chance, if I turn control over to you?”
“You have my word, but only if you can do it. Really do it.”
Alex raised his hands at his sides. “You have it.” He moved closer until there was just a whisper of space between their lips.
“Good. Kneel.”
He snorted. “What?”
“I said kneel. Don’t question me.”
Alex blinked and raised his eyebrows, seemingly waiting for Miranda to laugh or at least crack a smile. Neither happened.
“Okay,” he said with a tinge of insecurity in his voice. Clearing his throat, he dropped to his knees placing his mouth dangerously close to her breasts. Warm breath tickled at the sensitive skin where her blouse gaped. She’d opened a couple of the buttons after they closed the gallery for the evening. Her nipples strained the thin fabric of her bra and judging by where his gaze fell, he knew just how turned on she was by the situation. Stay. In. Control.
“Hey, eyes up here.” Miranda hooked her index finger under his chin and guided his face so his eyes met her stare.
“You’re right.” His voice was just above a whisper.
“About what?”
“I’ve never done anything like this before.”
“There’s a first time for everything. Now unzip my boots and take them off one at a time.”
Heh heh! Go Miranda!
