Straight from the desk of Alice Brown:

This past week proved to be a busy one.  In between continuing Up in Flames, Texas Vampire Rangers, #1, Lady V and I also came up with the story outlines for both books two and three in the Dragons of Dragonose series.  Lady V also got her website up and going, (http://authorladyv.com) and we received both the cover art for Sapphamire, Dragons of Dragonose #1, and first round edits on the book!

Planning on getting the edits done and turned back in this week, and I am hoping to have a locked in date for publication soon to announce.  Meanwhile, I'll be continuing to try to finish Up in Flames, and also start working on Fire and Ice, Dragons of Dragonose, #2.

Laughing is one of the best exercises; it's like running inside your mind.  You can do it almost anywhere, and it's even better with a friend!

A Note from the Paws:

We demanded that our story be told this week.  These humans that we live with have gone crazy!  The entire family!  We walked out from stinking up our litter boxes to see the dog lying across the girl's lap.  We then noticed that he was sucking on the girl's thumb!  Yuk!  I mean really!  Why doesn't anyone tell that mutt that he is a canine, and as such doesn't need to suck on a human's fingers?

Then they leave for several hours.  Now, we are accustomed to them doing this, and they usually get greeted with us looking up at them bleary eyed, due to just waking up.  But no, not the dog.  They keep him in a large crate, which makes it next to impossible to scratch his eyes out while they are gone, but not impossible to harass!  The minute they walk through the door he is whining and jumping around, acting as if he has missed them terribly.  Then they let him out of the crate and it is worse.

To make matters worse, they look down at us and state, "At least the dog missed us while we were gone."  Pul-ease!  Can you imagine two cats jumping around acting like retards every time the humans came home?  No, we have entirely too much class for that!  Now, if it was just possible to teach the dog some class, we'd be in great shape!     Harley & Whitestar
