The Writing Shop announced the release of the 10th book in the Kirov Series novels by John Schettler, Darkest Hour. Beginning exactly where Book 9 Altered States left off, it continues the story of the ship and crew now marooned in 1940 and embroiled in the naval war in a world shattered by all their previous interventions in history. Darkest Hour is the second volume in the Altered States segment of the long saga, and will be followed soon by book 11 in the series, Hinge of Fate.
