A Day in the Life of this Author

So, many people say to me; You have such a cushy job. You get to sit at home, play with your kid, and write stories.
Well...
That's only part of it.
This is a day I live while I'm not going into my part time job at an office. Ready?

7:30am Wake up and dress.
Get breakfast. Get kid her breakfast then dress her, in that order or I'll have to dress her twice.
Hit the gym.
Get home and shower.
Clean at least one room of the house.
Hit the grocery store with toddler in tow.
Fend off a headache because she's bored while I'm shopping.
Get home, clear the bad food out of the fridge, then replace it with the new food.
Do some laundry and dishes.
Get kid and possibly myself lunch.
Have a detailed conversation about My Little Pony with a toddler.
Convince her to take a nap.
Do edits and acquisitions work.
Hubby gets home and wants to be fed. Make dinner.
Most likely some form of church function/activity/meeting in the evening, if not, a family thing.
Get kid bathed and in bed.
Spend time with hubby, without the kid to bring my mentality back to an adult level.
Squeeze in some edits and/or reading before bed.

Throw in the dog, a child's world collapsing a minimum of three times, hubby calling at awkward moments just to say "I love you" (It's super cute, but often the timing could be better) and wondering when I'll ever have the time and energy to hang with my girl friends again.

I can probably guess that the other writer mothers out there are thinking YES! Gosh!
Do you feel overwhelmed at times by everything, but feel like people think you just sit around all day and write?
