hey can I mumble some writer feels at you guys?

Almost no one talks to me on AFF anymore and fiction press is pretty quiet too. It’s a little weird because the actual traffic for stories is as high as it’s ever been. Maybe it’s me? I’m not the howling, chatty update twice a week madman I used to be for sure. I went through some shit that knocked what was left of my 20s right out of me. Can you be happier and more somber at the same time?

I’ve also been thinking about transitioning to not making my writing process so public, so in the middle of sorting out what the hell I’m doing, but I also credit a lot of my growth in the last few years to reader feedback & guidance, a place to find a toehold as I scramble up the mountain. I’ve been writing a serial piece for yaoifix for the last 6 months so I am getting used to writing in what I’d call a much quieter environment. The words do still come.

I don’t know, where are you guys reading and writing these days? Where’s the party at?
