The Fine Art of Bubbling

Bubbling and the SAT

(aka the Most Important Blog Post on this Website)

Over the course of the year I developed a bubbling obsession. That might sound crazy, but proper bubbling is a legitimate concern on the SAT, as I learned early on.

If you want to know more about why a bubbling obsession, you can listen to this 3 minute audio clip from the book.

.........

Below is one bubbling method that Stacey Howe-Lott, an SAT tutor in Seattle, teaches her students.

The Fine Art of Bubbling

*Mark your answers in the test booklet.

*Draw a big circle around the answer you choose (circle the letter and the answer).

*Write the letter of your answer choice (in large print) to the left of the question. This allows for fast bubbling.

*Draw a large circle to the left of any question you skipped.

*Fill in the bubbles on the answer sheet each time you turn a page in the test book.

You can download an excerpt from the book and listen to another audio clip -- or, you can order a copy by clicking here.
