Act Two: Formatting


Once you short story or novel is in tiptop shape, it’s time to move on to the next step.  Formatting your novel basically get its ready for E-reader devices and print pages.  You can do it yourself but frankly it’s tedious and there is a lot to learn.  Thankfully, depending on whom you hire, the price isn’t outrageous.  For me, I paid 60 bucks for four different e-book formats. Nook Press, Amazon, Smashwords and Kobo are the four major ones and the ones I chose to self publish “Love of a Rockstar” on.  Another bonus of hiring a formatter is that they beautify your novel.  See below for example.
