What is the Ruby Slippered Sisterhood, Anyway?

Some of you who’ve joined us for the Winter Writing Festival may be wondering why we call ourselves the Ruby Slippered Sisterhood.

Are we Kansas farmgirls? Green-skinned witches? A mysterious cult?

Nope–we’re writers. A group of 60+ romance writers who first came together on March 26, 2009, when we were all named finalists in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest.
